Alto Tower, the pinnacle of connectivity

La Défense / Paris business district

Developed by Linkcity as part of a design and construction project by Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France with IF Architectes, SRA and architect and interior designer Jean-Philippe Nuel with the support of Bouygues Energies & Services and Axione

The Alto Tower is part of the redevelopment of the Saisons district in La Défense and its transformation into an urban area. The smart building offers occupants a connected experience, such as remote-controlled lighting and ventilation, booking of workspaces and sporting facilities, and even an internal guidance system. Its operation is also optimised, including supervised equipment, alarm configuration, car park access management, energy consumption analysis and supervision of the building's automated systems. All these technologies form part of a unique architecture. Its facade of glass shards and flared shape with varying surface areas ranging from 700 m² at the bottom of the building to 1.700 m² at the top make it stand out from its neighbours. The volume of the space increases slightly with each floor, until it doubles in surface area on the very top levels, creating workspaces whose unique anamorphic geometry provides exceptional light. Its insulating double-skin facade also gives it an excellent energy rating.

An 86m high green oasis

Another place, another tower! The 280-metre high CapitaSpring tower in Singapore will combine spaces for working, living and entertainment in a vertically connected environment. A Green Oasis with spaces for socializing and activities across four floors of abundant greenery and trees will provide the chance to reconnect with nature in the centre of the city.
